“My students loved this story! It is very hard to find short historical fiction stories for my students age group but this was perfect! Thank you!”

I would recommend this book to parents of children who are in the first grade on up and want their children introduced to an interesting person in history and the first steps that the West was taking toward vaccination. This is the perfect book for a book report or to include as part of a series to introduce children to topics that affect us today.

This is a cute and informative work on the life of the amazing, young John Quincy Adams. The writer definitely makes an effort to add the human touch, and Johnny does a bit more crying than he probably did in real life, LOL, although he had good reason to as many of the things he did required a lot of courage. I doubt whether any child in history had a more unusual life.
